As a beginner, I opened the box and thought...yikes. Even the small size looks a bit big. But, I got over my fear and gave it a try. It's an interesting feeling. The material used is comfortable and nice to the touch. I was afraid it could somehow go in too far but that isn't the case. They are easy to clean and cute with the diamond decoration at the ends. The clamps are like all other clamps I've seen and owned. The set is a great value.
