This looked like a potentially interesting cat toy, and while I don't feel that it lived up to its website description, it still has some reasonable entertainment value. Don't expect it to work on thick carpeting--it's best on smooth floors, such as wood or tile, although it can work to some degree on thin carpet. (On thick carpeting, it won't be able to move much at all...) Even on smooth floors in clear areas, it doesn't actually roll around much--mainly, it vibrates and moves around just a little, and its lights flash. Given to a trio of cats, two of them found it intriguing enough to capture their attention for quite a while, while the third (an older cat with a snooty air of superiority...) seemed uninterested.The sparse instructions on the side of the box say that the red LED will flash when the internal (rechargeable) battery is low, and that the red light will stay on continuously while charging and then change to blue when the charge is complete (roughly 1.5 hours). What I experienced is that the red light flashes while the unit is charging, and then turns to steady blue when complete.The description also says that in the "normal" (green light) mode, the unit will operate (cycle through periods of vibration and movement) for about four minutes and then automatically shut off--which mine seemed to do correctly. But in the "intelligent" (blue light) mode, after four minutes of such operation it's supposed to shut off--and then start up again when the cat "taps" it--but I found that the cats could not re-start it themselves--I had to give it a good whack to make it initiate another four-minute activity period.It comes with a short USB-A to USB-C charging cord, but you must provide your own charger. A powered USB port will do, or you can use virtually any 5-volt phone charger. Battery life is reasonable, providing an entertaining number of activity cycles on a single charge.So, like many things, it's not as good as the description claims it is--but it can still provide some entertaining fun.
