I had an opportunity to purchase the authentic Cobra so just wanted to provide a quick comparison.In terms of price, 50 quid is not cheap for a knockoff, but it is still a decent price. I paid 250 quid for the authentic Cobra as a comparison (import duty and taxes included).In terms of the length of the cage, this is the same identical cage as the Cobra N+. Weirdly, this one says the length is 70mm but Cobra N+ says it’s length is 60mm.The biggest problem I had is the base ring. It is the reason that I went for the authentic Cobra in the end. This product provides 4 rings, all in the curved shape. This whole provides a bit of comfort in the groin area, it also results in balls easily escaping when contracted. The size that fits me the best was the 45mm, but the balls could escape like 5 times a day. The next smaller size would be way too small and would restrict the blood flow. In contrast, the authentic Cobra provides 3 types of base rings - curved, standard and extra thick. I went for the same size of base ring but chose the standard shape. This reduces the gap between the cage and the ring, prevents my balls from escaping while still allowing blood to flow properly. I also got an extra thick one just in case the balls shrink further in folder weather.Then the assembly and lock. When assembling this product’s cage and base ring, it is very loose and even after inserting the lock, there is still a bit of wiggle room. Just a tiny bit, but you can certainly feel it when it expands. The authentic one is much much sturdy - once assembled, the ring and cage become one piece that does not wiggle at all. The lock is also much tighter.Finally the smoothness. Some of the edges in the ring and cage aren’t too smooth, but a sandpaper is provided and it worked well. I just needed one quick and gentle sanding to make them work like charm.Conclusion: I think it is still a decent product, all things considered. The price is much cheaper than the authentic Cobra, and with Amazon’s 30-day returns it’s a good price. It is very comfortable to wear, but it is not for me who has tighter sacks.
