Our kittens have pulled this thing out of it's holder numerous and it's still holding in there. I don't know why it's called interactive, it's a toy that a cat bats around. And there is no squeak.My cat is beginning to enjoy the toy now that I've 'removed' the eyes. She was terrified of the neon-eye-flash when the 'mouse' would strike something 'firm'!Gabby our 4 year Siamese was overjoyed with this mouse. (In fact we had to hide it at night because she would cluck at & squeak the mouseALL night long. She is convinced that this mouse is real and pounce on and throws it into the air to make sure it’s dead! We have one happy cat!This is a great product at a great price! It's not remote controlled. There are 2 mice with realistic sounds when you pull the plastic thing out. My cat loved them.I like having self stimulating toys because I work full time and have younger cats. This is perfect for my cats! Would recommend if they like to play with wands/string etcI wish I could give this a higher star rating because my cat is obsessed with his new toy! He's been playing with it for a solid ten minutes since I gave it to him.I hang it off the cat tower. He LOVES it, but he's broken it off the stem that holds it. I am on my 3rd one. My advice is don't put it in the locking position. Just let the stem set in its place.Unfortunately he loves it so much he is always destroying it,so I am constantly replacing it. But it is well worth it to see him play.Huge play value and squeak is so realistic. Always know where the cat is - usually behind a sofa batting his squeaky toy. goes and looks for them when it is too wet / cold to play outside. Seem to be very resilient too - going strong after several months of hearty play.Added comment after two years- resilient ? these mice are tremendous. Still look almost as good as new after more than two years of almost daily play. One has just lost its squeak - a minor tragedy in the household so am quickly ordering two fresh mice. One warning - when our cat catches a baby rat (it is a rural area) it is dispatched and neatly added to the toy pile. Have more than once picked up a corpse in error !Bought these for my Oriental nut-case, who due to special needs, isn't allowed outside. He has given them his seal of approval by driving me crazy ever since they arrived, batting them around the house and howling every time he's lost one behind the fridge, until I've retrieved it for him. It's sometimes hard to keep him stimulated and active, and he's picky about which toys he will play with, but the squeaking fascinates him. The mice seem fairly robust, so should last him a few weeks.Only just received these,First thing I didn't notice when ordering is packaging says for small cats, I have a bigger cat breed,They are small !! I wish they were twice the size, my cat likes them but not loves them,My cat loves catnip but these toys do not smell of catnip,They are OK, to chase, but get abandoned quickly by my cat.They arrived quickly, packaged well.These are supposed to be the cats toys however my westie has nicked them and hides them in her bed! I bought these as I had a feeling that would happen as when the cat catches a real mouse she will steal it and walk round with the tail hanging out like a mouse lollipop yuk! They have such a realistic sound that hopefully the cat will get to keep his real mouse until he gets fed up with it which takes all of twenty seconds!My cat loved it. Very realistic. It drove me mad with it's squeaking but; then it wasn't for me! Most unfortunately it came to a sticky end when it was run over by my mother's electric wheelchair! My cat has been in mourning ever since. I suppose I'll have to buy another one!!
